I really enjoyed the music of Nathan Haines, Don McGlashan and also Bryan & Roxy Music. The disappointing thing for me was the photographer that was placed right in front of the stage obscuring my view of Nathan, Don & Bryan. Why did he have to be up so close and personal?

All the artists were excellent. Loved the Roxy Music selection - especially 'If there is something' which one professional reviewer desribed as 'an obscure track' though it was the most incredible track on their breakthrough albun in 1972. Even Bowie did a cover version of this song, he was so impressed by it. I thought the sound quality was excellent. But I must echo the other criticisms that the big screens showed rather pretentious screen-savers instead of the live performance.

We spoilt ourselves and went both Sat (Winery Tour) and Sun (Roxy). Cant beat Villa Maria - i'd sit and drink wine at an open air concert and have a lovely chilled picnic with family and friends over sittingi n the stuffy Vector anyday (even when it buckets down!!). We loved Nathan and Don but were disappointed with Roxy. When they played songs that the audience knew - it rocked, there just wasn't enough of that unfortunatley...That said we will be back coz Tom Jones (last Year) absolutely rocked it....who will it be next year!!!???.....

The previous commenters must have been at a different concert from the one my friends & I went to! We loved the whole night, the venue, everything - even Bryan. I agree slightly with the remarks about the videos but they suited the music & Bryan's no longer pretty enough for us to need to see him.

First time at Villa Maria - loved the venue and really enjoyed ourselves. Warm up bands were great - Roxy Music was awful - hardly played any of the songs that were advertised. When he did play a good song and the crowd got going - he played some other unknow awful song. Sorry - never going to see Roxy Music ever again. Give up Brian!

Just as a thought - the Roxy music information that was advertised as to what he was going to play was not the Roxy music that played. I suggest you make sure what is going to be played before you advertise things which are incorrect.

WellThis was my first time at the venue and was so dissapointed, I may have well been at a drive in movie. Big screens not showing the live band and sound not so good. wine prices not in line with true price of wine at the present retail market but I guess that may have been overlooked had the stage setting been of a good view. Not impressed.

Loved Don McGlashan, great venue but would be better if it were smokefree as we were absolutely smoked out. Re Roxy Music - was disappointed the big screens didn't show the action on the stage and played random images. Sound not great.

first time to villa maria - super impressed with venue, services, setup incrediable = thankyou - what a shame Bryan was singing badly and loads of random songs played and only a handful of favorite hits - left early along with others....
